Tony Compton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Compton of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Tony farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Tony is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, David, Stephen and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Ashley; his siblings, Jimmy, Nancy and Connie; and his aunt Maxine.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820).
