Vearlina R. Thomas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vearlina R. Thomas of Champaign, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Vearl Smith and Barbara Smith (Wilson); and her former life partner Larry McElhaney. She is survived by : her husband James Robert; and her children, Dale McElhaney of Mahomet, David McElhaney (Dakorie) of Urbana and Kelly McElhaney of Homer. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
