She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ellington and Lottie Ellington (Woodell); her husband Ralph "Bud" Sweger Sr.; her son Gary Sweger; and her siblings, John Ellington, Hansford Ellington, Frances Dillard, Clara Lee, Bernard Ellington and Virginia Atkins.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Sweger Jr. of North Carolina, Ray Sweger (Sandy Kaye) of Chana, Linda Pfister of Chana and Cynthia Sweger of Rochelle; and her grandchildren, Debra, Rebekah, Patricia, Stephanie, Jason, Matthew, Elizabeth and Christopher. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
