Ruth Ann Draege Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2024, at the age of 89, Ruth Ann Draege (Chana, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Bonnell and Elizabeth Bonnell. She is survived by: her husband George; her grandsons, Dennis Toomsen and Joshua Crump; her children, Susan Mooney of Oregon, IL, Sally Crump (Aaron) of Minocqua, WI, Barbara Horst (Robert) of Dripping Springs, TX, Beverly Linzemann (Keith) of Oregon, IL and Chris Draege of Sublette, IL.; and her grandchildren, Alan Toomsen (Sandy), Sarah McCauley (Troy), Matthew Horst (Rebecca), Betty Sotelo (Elias), Andrew Horst, Mihai Crump and Gianna Crump. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up at Serenity Hospice and Home, Oregon, IL and Chana United Methodist Church, Chana, IL.
