He is survived by: his children, Ashley Smith (Matt), Kelly Pherigo (Melissa), Victoria Pherigo (Tyreese), Sarah Stageberg (Grady) and Andrew Pherigo; his grandchildren, Conor, Elizabeth Smith, Easton Kotalik, Brynley, Lainey Pherigo, Everest, Denali Bush and Karsynn Stageberg; the mother of his children Christine Mendoza; and his sister Gena Bowling.
