He is survived by: his wife Janice Sheppard of Chandlerville; his sons, Ronald "Dean" Sheppard, Jr. (Lorin) of Rushville, John Sheppard of Pittsfield, Daren Sheppard (Brenda) of Beardstown, Jason Sheppard of Beardstown and Jared Sheppard of Beardstown; his grandchildren, Caleb Sheppard (Rebecca Thomas) of Beardstown, Levi Sheppard of Beardstown, Cari McCombs (Nick) of Beardstown, Ashley Mitchell of Quincy, Cole Sheppard (Hanna) of Sedro Wolley, Hannah Sheppard of Jacksonville, Kent, Kash and Kassidy Grafton of Rushville; his great grandchildren, Mila, Lilly, Olivia McCombs of Beardstown, Zayne, Xander Mitchell of Quincy, Liam Sheppard of Sedro Wolley and Tyson Harris of Jacksonville, Florida.; his siblings, Sandra Roberts (Trenton) of Quincy, Shirley Thorpe of Rock Island, Sue Clifford (Dave) of Quincy, Dennis Sheppard (Ellen) of Lebanon and Larry Sheppard (Joyce) of Bloomington; and his siblings-in-law, Freda Sheppard of Pittsfield, Oly Sheppard of Carson, California and John Clifford of Riverside, California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
