She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Edge and Rosa S. Edge (Hendricker); her daughter Darlene Ann Duckwiler; and her brothers, William Edge and Gerald Edge.
She is survived by: her husband D. Dean Duckwiler of Chandlerville; her son Kevin Duckwiler (Crystal); her grandsons, Dustin Duckwiler (Britta) and Westin Duckwiler (Hallie); her great grandchildren, Willow Marie, Devon Dean, Olivia Rose, Raymond Paul and Hayden Duckwiler; and her brothers, Milton Edge (Hazel) and Dale Edge (Donna). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Shirley's name to Together Church in Springfield or to the Baptist Children's Home and Family Center in Carmi, Illinois.
