She was predeceased by: her parents, George Schofield and Mary Schofield (Johnson); her siblings, Maureen Moreno and Tom Schofield; her great-nephew Westyn Genens; her parents-in-law, Elmer and Bonnie Eyrse; and her sister-in-law Lisa Bess.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer J. "Jim" Eyrse, Jr.; her children, Michael Upchurch (Kristin), David Upchurch (Rachel) and Mary Upchurch; her stepchildren, Jessica Hudson, Jim Eyrse (Donna), David Eyrse (Samantha), Nicole Serak (Tommy) and Nikki Gaither; her sisters, Mary Genens, Georgeen Manis (Charles), Roberta Rodriguez and Kathy Westcott; and her siblings-in-law, Pam Fisher (Sam), Deb Phillips, David Eyrse (Cathy) and Kevin Eyrse (Shannon). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charlene's name can be made to Lightways Hospice or to the Will County Humane Society.
