He is survived by: his father Edward Berens; his wife Julie Berens (Piatak); his children, Haley Berens (Sam Parker) and Alec Berens (Laura Elsey); his siblings, Patricia Berens and Billy Herron; his nieces, Kalia Berens, Nyari and Laylah Herron; his brothers-in-law, Chris Piatak (Debbie) and Vince Piatak (Gina); his nephews, Joey, Jacob and Jason Piatak; Sandy and Don Piatak.
