He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Herron; his stepmother Loma Berens; and his nephew Chance Herron. He is survived by: his father Edward Berens; his wife Julie Berens (Piatak); his children, Haley Berens (Sam Parker) and Alec Berens (Laura Elsey); his siblings, Patricia Berens and Billy Herron; his nieces, Kalia Berens, Nyari and Laylah Herron; his brothers-in-law, Chris Piatak (Debbie) and Vince Piatak (Gina); his nephews, Joey, Jacob and Jason Piatak; Sandy and Don Piatak.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
