Ryder James Montavon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ryder James Montavon of Channahon, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 4, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Karol Main (Arnold), Lester Bodeker, Kenny Evans and Therese Arredondo (Ramon). He is survived by: his parents, Josh Montavon and Stephanie Montavon (Main); his grandparents, Kim Harvey of Effingham, Chris Montavon (Shirley Teel) of Dallas, Babcia and Kasia; his great-grandparents, Debbie Evans of Ramsey and Patsy Bodeker of Altamont, Illinois; and his aunts, Sydney Harvey, Stormie Cox and Funcle Brooke. He is also survived by many other friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fruland Funeral Home (121 W Jefferson St, Morris, IL 60450). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at 1454 Cemetery Rd, Morris, IL 60450.
Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Ryder's memory to an animal shelter or rescue of the donor's choosing.
