He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Oakley and Mary Oakley (Talbott); and his sisters, Evelyn Hatten, Dolores Walker and Glovene Cody.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Cooper; his sons, Brian Oakley (Tiffany), Greg Oakley (Cathy) and Brad Oakley (Debbie); his grandchildren, Sydney Colvis (Alan), Nick Oakley (Kylie Decker), Caleb Oakley, Tyler Oakley, Chanille Oakley, Mahayla Oakley and Kyrah Estacio (Estiven); and his great grandchild Baron Colvis.

A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Toledo Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Life Center of Cumberland County or the Toledo Christian Church.
