She was predeceased by : her parents, Vivia R. Cooley and Gladys Ruth Cooley Coffell (Hepner); her husband William A. Brown; her daughters, Carolyn J. "Bullock" Cooley-Brown and Patty Ann Brown; and her siblings, Anna Mae Nickell and Bill Cooley.

She is survived by : her children, Vickie Thompson (Gary), William Edward Brown (Pam) and Dede Heintz (George). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 17 great great-grandchildren.
