Brian Icenogle Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Icenogle of Charleston, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 13, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Icenogle and Glenna Barbara Icenogle (Shields). He is survived by: his wife Alice Icenogle of Charleston; his children, Janelle Muchow (Jeremy) of Mattoon and Jonathan Icenogle (Chelsea); his stepchildren, Kristina Evans (Jamie Price) of Tolono and Tommy Evans (Kara Bapp) of Neoga, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ashley Muchow (Ethan Burkett), Jarret Muchow, Adrienne Muchow, Jackson Icenogle, Addison Icenogle, Alivia Icenogle, Logan Dann and Emma Dann; his siblings, Joe Icenogle (Nada), Paul Icenogle (Betty), Mike Icenogle and Linda Shadwick (Larry); and his aunt Nancy Snedeker. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Inc. (520 Oak Ave, Neoga, IL 62447). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials can be made to the Sarah Bush Willow Breeze Hospice in Mattoon, Illinois or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
