Chris Alan Pfeiffer, 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Charleston Illinois, on August 15, 2025, with his three Daughters by his side. Born on March 23 1954, Chris lived a life full of warmth laughter, and devotion to those he loved.

Chris remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped him. His career reflected both dedication and hard work- he spent ten years at Vesuvius after committing over two decades to RR Donnellev. Through these vears, he built not only a professional legacy but alsc lasting friendships and respect among colleagues.

Chris's heart beat strongest for his family He is loving remembered by his wife Patricia Ann Pfeiffer, children Christopher (Bobbi) Richardson of Denver, North Carolina; Lisa (Bub) McMechan of Greenup, Illinois; Lindsey (Aaron) Hite of Charleston; and Crystal (David) Pearcy of Charleston.

His pride in them was matched by the joy he found in being a grandfather to Blake Richardson of Charleston; Dylan Richardson of Denver; Ashley (Kelton) Waters of Flora; Kinley and Cael McMechan of Greenup; Silas and Londyn Hite of Charleston; and Trey, Jack, and Crew Pearcy of Charleston.
