She is survived by: her children, Larry Newby (Pamela) of Charleston, IL, Linda Swearingen of Mattoon, IL and Jamee Thomson of San Antonia, TX; her grandchildren, Matthew Newby (Krissta Ashmore), Joshua Newby (Laura) of Rochester, NY, Emily Swearingen of Mattoon, IL, Amanda Ruiz (Stephen Bruner) of Atlanta, GA, Travis Thomson of Austin, TX and Trevor Thomson of San Antonio, TX; her great grandchildren, Ricky Newby (Erin) of Charleston, IL and Tony Newby of Ashmore Illinois; and her sister Eleanor Douglas of Charleston, IL..
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Humboldt Cemetery.
