She is survived by: her sister Karen Rosinia of Chapel Hill; her children, Bruce Bower (Shawn) of Urbana, Brian Bower (Mary) of Charleston, Doug Bower (Mary) of Charleston and Karen Smith (Ryan) of Brevard; her grandchildren, Matthew Bower (Alisha) of Charleston Illinois, Scott Bower (Cecelia) of Charleston, Libby Bower of Cape Coral, Brian Bower (Emily Thoman) of O'Fallon, Michael Bower (Katy) of Jackson, Evan Bower of Charleston, Andrew (Joanne Li) of Gaithersburg, Sarah Bower (Morgan Squiers) of Chicago and Tristan Smith (Amelia) of Kyle, Texas; her great grandchildren, Gregory Bower, Jacasta Bower, Dylan Bower and Holland Bower; her pet Max; and her close friend Carolyn Kolling.
