It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janis Rae Niccum of Charleston, Illinois, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Herman and Dorthy Herman (Reynolds); her husband Max Niccum; her son Robert Bennett; and her siblings, Kenny and Wilma.

She is survived by : her children, Ron Bennett (LuAnn), Troy Bennett and Julie Bennett-Young; her siblings, Ronnie Heddins (Lennie), Linda Haga and Jane Herman (Liz Sansare); and her grandchildren, Holly Pennington (Andrew), Ronnie Bennett (Kim), Jessica Dukeman (Mitch), Travis Bennett, Heidi Barr, Kyle Bennett and Leandra Young. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
