He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leonard and Ivah Leonard (Snider); his siblings, Joan Levitt, Robert "Bob" Leonard and Allen Anderson; and his brother-in-law Tom Sawyer.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Leonard of Charleston, IL; his children, Vanessa Henne of Panama City, FL, Marc Hutchcraft (Winnie) of Lenexa, KS, Casey Hutchcraft (Billie) of Mattoon, IL and Corey Hutchcraft of Gays, IL; his grandchildren, Nathan, Mara, Jordan, Jade, Casandra, Cade, Dane, Christian and Cole; his great grandchildren, Remi, Ezra and Whitley; his sisters, Brenda Sawyer of Charleston, IL and Helen Holt (Dale) of Champaign, IL; and his siblings' children, Kelly, Bobbi, Jerri, Connie and Todd.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Et Adams Funeral Chapel (2330 Shawnee Dr, Charleston, IL 61920). A masonic service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:10 AM at the same location.
