He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Long and Ruth "Bobbie" Long (Barnett); and his wife Lucy Ann Williamson. He is survived by : his sons, John Earle Jr. Long (Hillary) of Red Rock and James Eric "Jim" Long (Belle) of Charleston; and his grandchildren, Raelynn, Lyla, Ellie and Lilly Long.
