We bid farewell to Kay Pointon of Charleston, Illinois, born in Butte, Montana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 72. Kay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Willaim Sr. and Thursa Marie Ealy (Guy); her husband Carl Barnes Pointon Jr.; her daughter Ann Elizabeth Pointon; and her siblings, Danny Ealy, Charles Ealy and Suzanne York.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Pointon (Lynn) of Mattoon, IL, Michael Pointon (Sandy) of Charleston, IL, Dennis Pointon (Cherry) and Thursa Nailing (Robert) of Decatur, IL; and her brothers, David Ealy (Sandy) of Perrysville, IN and Everett William Ealy Jr. (Linda) of Kansas, IL.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
