Marilyn Sue McBride Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Sue McBride of Charleston, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn Sue McBride to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Loehrlein and Anna Loehrlein (Thomas); and her husband Glea Roy McBride. She is survived by: her children, Tim McBride (Crystal) of Pittsburgh, PA, Suzanne Schubert (Matt) of Charleston, IL, Patrick McBride (Alejandra) of Chicago, IL and Lisa Plattner (Ryan) of LaCygne, KS.; her grandchildren, Liam and Nora Schubert; her siblings, Jim Loehrlein (Myrna) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kathleen Scheller of Evansville, IN and Jane Rotering (Leon) of Minneapolis, MN; and her pet Bentley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Et Wesley United Methodist Church (2206 4th St, Charleston, IL 61920). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
