He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard, Isabelle Greiner, Lawrence and Mary Jane Hutti. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen L. Hutti and Deborah L. Greiner Hutti; his siblings, Timothy P. Hutti, Patrick S. Hutti (Colleen Hollestelle) and Heather H. Kelly (Sean Kelly); his siblings' children, Max D. Hutti, Cosette K. Hutti, Aidan Matthew Hutti and Nolan P. Kelly; his godparents, Rebecca Hill and Mark Hutti; his goddaughter Tess Isabelle Hill; his cousin Danny Greiner; and his uncle David Hutti. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to Camp New Hope, PO Box 764, Mattoon, IL 61938.
