She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Alfred Lanken and Almeda Von Lanken (Frahm); her husband Donald J. Hood; and her siblings, Helen Von Lanken and Wayne Von Lanken. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (902 Cleveland Ave, Charleston, IL 61920). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
