With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Astrid Goodin of Chatham, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irmagard Kummert and Joseph Kummert; her husband George Goodin; and her sister Doris Benn. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Capps (Gail) of Springfield, Michael Capps (Nicole) of Easley, SC and Kirsten Capps of Chatham; her grandchildren, Madison, Ainsley, Allison, Joseph and Grant Capps; and her siblings, Werner, Arming, Roland Kummert, Hannehlore Demel and Marget. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
