He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Louis and Audrey Kathleen Riddell (Wilcoxson); his brother Edward L. Riddell; his son Larry Reavis; and his great grandchild Zander Reavis.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Heaton (Chris) of Chatham and Michael Reavis of Kansas; his grandchildren, Gary Reavis (Bobbie Jean), Christopher Heaton (Jorden), Michael Reavis (Kansas), Billy Reavis, Carlie Heaton and Jeffrey Reavis; his great grandchildren, Beckman, Miner, Jaxon, Colton, Stevie Jo, Christina, Hope, Leland, Kayleigh and Cade; and his nephew Carl Louis Riddell of Springfield.
