Graedy Joseph Skelton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2025, at the age of 13, Graedy Joseph Skelton of Chatham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Adam Skelton; and his uncle Joseph VonDeBur. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Skelton (VonDeBur); his stepfather Mark Poani of Chatham; his siblings, Brantley, Cadence and Hayden; his stepsiblings, Aly and Logan Poani of Chatham; and his grandparents, Edward and Colleen VonDeBur. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home-Chatham (8855 State Rte 4, Chatham, IL 62629). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph (700 E Spruce St, Chatham, IL 62629).
Memorial contributions may be made to Siteman Cancer Center at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
