With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Adkins of Chatham, Illinois, born in Pana, Illinois, who passed away on May 27, 2023 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Adkins and Ethel "Toots" Adkins (McGuar). He is survived by: his wife Cindy Adkins of Chatham; his children, Derek Adkins of Chatham, Stephanie Adkins of Chatham, Amanda Conner (Rick) of Girard and Annette Dinkens (Derek) of Puxico, MO; his grandchildren, Vance, Liam, Ryland, Piper and Remi; and his siblings, Judy Small (Wayne "Butch") of Shelbyville, Linda Abell (David) of Pana, Janie Fox (Stuart) of Shelbyville and Jackie Newbanks (Jim) of Effingham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
