She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Marion and Jessie Mae Ekis (Gum); her husband Fred H. Snowden; and her son John Fredrick Lawson, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Vincent Michael "Mike" Lawson (Catherine) of Chatham; her grandchildren, Justin, Josh, Jessica, Jordan and Elijah Lawson; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Rosie, Brooklyn Lawson and Jojo McElroy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
