With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn J. Garland of Chatham, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Fry and June Fry (Clement); and her brother Jim Fry. She is survived by: her husband Dennis M. Garland; her son Shane Wallace of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Heather Gristy (Robert) of Chatham, Nick Wallace of Springfield, Shayne Wallace of Springfield, Tyler Dougherty of Springfield, Susie Dougherty of Springfield and Sean Wallace of Springfield; her sister Anna Polistina of Sherman; and her nieces, Chelsea and Dakota Fry of Chicago. She is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren.
