He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommaso Sanguedolce and Domenica Sanguedolce (Capasso); and his siblings, Riccardina Sanguedolce, Lina Fusari, Lucia Baysinger (Lucy), Concetta Gingotti (Tina) and Giovanni Sanguedolce (John).
He is survived by: his sisters, Maria Iannucci (Domenico) and Rita Burgener; his wife Antonietta Sanguedolce (Morelli); his daughter Domenica Weir (Joseph); his grandsons, Michael (Christina), Anthony and David; his child Alysia Atwood (Nick); his grandson Conner; his son Samuel Sanguedolce (Allyson); his grandchildren, Sylvester, Simon, Morgan Woll (Chris) and Antonietta Sanguedolce (Nia); his stepchildren, Lexy, Desiray, Kaley and Prestyn Meyer; his daughter Elena Adams (Stephen); his granddaughter Amelia; and his children, Sophia Sanguedolce and Mike of Vince's Pizza.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (700 E Spruce St, Chatham, IL 62629). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (700 E Spruce St, Chatham, IL 62629).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made either to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (Chatham) or Springfield First Church of the Nazarene.
