William R. Leach Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 30, 2022, at the age of 72, William R. Leach of Chatham, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward "Ted" Leach and Louise Leach (Ruffner); his wife Jo Carol Hipp; his children, Justin Leach (Jamie) of Hermitage, TN, William "Bill" Kendrick (Julie) of Indianapolis, IN and Angela McDowell (Reid) of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Matthew, Claire McDowell, Val Kendrick, Isabel Standley, Riley, William Leach, Amelia and Violet Kendrick; his siblings, Ted Leach (Beverly) of Peterborough, NH, Dave Leach (Janet) of Chatham and Rosemary Leistner (Bob) of Springfield; his stepsister Sally Salvadore of Washington, DC; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Garant (Hank), Anita Baskin (Tom), Susan Clower (Gary) and Steve Hipp. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
