He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joe and Larry. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughter Lacey Croegaert (Shane) of South Carolina; his stepdaughter Tammy Bell (Aaron) of Forest; his grandchildren, Lily Gordon (Cameron), Tristen Croegaert (Makaitlyn), Caitlin Croegaert, Ken Croegaert, MindySue Meyer (Jason) and Ivana Rivera (Cristian); and his sister Vonda. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to Livingston County Humane Society in honor of Bruce A. Abney.
