In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Greta leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Greta may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Newcomb and Isetta Riggs Newcomb; and her stepmother Jeanette Newcomb. She is survived by: her husband Lester Naese of Chebanse; her children, Samuel Naese of Woodridge and Leslie Malone (Brian) of Kankakee; her siblings, Connie Carrington of Heber City, UT, Brian Newcomb (Nancy) of Kearney, MO and David Carrington of Kankakee; and her grandchildren, Jackson, Carter and Lainey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and bonus children and bonus grandchildren.
