It is with sadness that the passing of Jeanie L. Hilgeman of Chebanse, Illinois is shared. Jeanie, born on May 31, 1948, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Raymond Choate and Doris Stevens (Armstrong); her children, James R. Hilgeman Jr. and Jodie Hilgeman-Denault; her brother-in-law Wayne German; and her grandchild Alexis Hilgeman.

She is survived by: her husband James R. Hilgeman Sr. of Chebanse; her children, Jonnathen Hilgeman (Glenys) of Loda, IL and Julia Hilgeman of Clifton, IL; her siblings, Verna German of L'Erable, IL, Debbie Thompson (Brian) of Bourbonnais, IL and John Choate of Limestone; and her grandchildren, Reashell Perkins (Calvin), Catherine Hilgeman, Brittney Burbridge (Maurice), Pamela Hilgeman, Austin Denault (Rachel), Axel Denault (Ariel) and Skyler Hilgeman. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
