We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2021, at the age of 86, Barbara Lois Lay of Chenoa, Illinois, born in Eighty Eight, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Clyde and Julia Ann DeVore Sr. (Whitlow); her sons, Vencil and Phillip Brewer; her brother Clyde Devore; her siblings-in-law, Jim Byrd and Beverly DeVore; and her daughter-in-law Diana Brewer.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Brewer (Debbie) of Texas, Russell Brewer (Eva) of Wisconsin and Barbara A. Hennington (Ken) of Wisconsin; her siblings, Lee DeVore (Linda) of Senatobia, MS, James DeVore (Janet) of Normal, Larry DeVore of Fisher, Jerriann Byrd of Pontiac and Laura Faulconer (Roger) of Lewisville, TX; and her sister-in-law Gail Devore of Lexington. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
