The passing of Ellen Ann Nance of Chenoa, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 17, 2025 at the age of 91. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Johnson and Lillian Johnson (Leonard); her husband Lawrence Nance; and her sister Kathryn Lucille Morgan. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Elizabeth Nance; her siblings, Ervin, Thomas Johnson and Mae Gardner; her children, Bridget Nance (Donald Christie) of Washington, Cecelia Smith (Charles) of Washington, Stephen Nance (Christie Lipps) of Washington and Mark Nance (Becky) of East Peoria; and her sister Shirley McGimpsey (Jim) of Arkansas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Duffy-Pils Memorial (302 Lincoln St, Chenoa, IL 61726). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Ellen A. Nance.
