It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Dale Rasmus of Chenoa, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rasmus and Elsa Rasmus (McKinney); his wife Janet Kay Rasmus (Feit); his daughter Theresa Rasmus; his granddaughter Lindsey Morrison; his siblings, Carl, Phillip, Donnie, David Rasmus, Corienne McCollum, Evelyn Ribordy, Ethel Gentes and Juanita Walter; and his siblings-in-law, Lyle McCollum, Bill Ribordy, Darrel, Gary Isaacson, Roy Romaniuk, Eddie Feit, Helen and Bernice Rasmus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Corinna Keneipp (Mick), Jane Morrison (Kevin) and Joanna Sauer (Scott); his grandchildren, Cindy Gronowski (Stephen), Ginny Webster (Tyler), Mandy Benning (Zachary), Laura Whicker (Jeremy), Lisa Cornejo (Tito), Leslie Evelsizer (Mark) and Caleb Sauer; his sisters, Hazel Isaacson, Bessie Ritter, Margaret Ketchmark (Gene), Janet Harrison (Bill) and Doris Sawin (Chris); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Gentes, Jim Walter, Sherry Rasmus, Carol Feit and Joyce Leuchtenberg (Bill). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Jack's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
