She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson Ruther; her parents, Harold Stahler and Margaret Stahler; and her sisters, Ann Diemer and Mary Stahler.
She is survived by: her son Tony Ruther (Kim) of Pontiac, IL; her granddaughter Kelly Donovan (Wesley) of Bloomington, IL; her great grandchild Sawyer Donovan; her brother Edward Stahler (Kris); and her in-laws, Candy Jones (Rick), Roger Ruther (Carol) and Richard Diemer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for Jean can be made to the Livingston County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
