Penny J. Rhoades Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 60, Penny J. Rhoades of Chenoa, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gale and Bonnie Lou Jay (Sapp); her in-laws, Arthur and Betty Rhoades; and her son Corey Rhoades.
She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Rhoades (Alicia) of Chenoa and Bradley Rhoades (Adriana) of Fairbury; her siblings, Gaila Roberts (Jack) of Bement and Joseph Gale Jay II of Champaign; and her grandchildren, Lucas Leclair of Chenoa, Layton of Chenoa, Madison Rhoades of Chenoa, Ezra and Braxton Rhoades of Fairbury.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duffy-Pils Memorial (302 Lincoln St, Chenoa, IL 61726). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Fairbury (701 N 7th St, Fairbury, IL 61739).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Osteosarcoma Research.
