He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Albert Frank "Ted" and Blanche Maybelle Elson Jacobs; his son Stanley Richard; his wife Stella Morgan; his brother Bob; and his siblings-in-law, Norm Inman, George Scott, Lynden Hewitt, Merlin Eash, Mattie Jacobs and Janet Dameron.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Nancy Contrucci (Kent) of Boise, ID, Debbie Johnson (Bruce) of Lexington, Don Jacobs (Barbara) of Chenoa, Laurie Sleeter (Lance) of Lexington and Maureen Ritchie Sutherland (Israel); his grandchildren, Rachel Kridner (Matt), Ryan Johnson (Krystn), Sarah Smith (Blake), Jonathan Contrucci (Lindsey), Bo Sleeter (Maria), Allison Schmitt (Ben), Emily Jacobs (Bryan Norton), David Sleeter (Sarah) and Andrew Jacobs (Jake Hackl); his great grandchildren, Elly, Olivia, Max Johnson, George, Ava, John Kridner, Grayson, Beckham, Marin Smith, Haddie, Hazel Sleeter, Lucy, Teddy Schmitt and Jonah Sleeter; his sisters, Shirley Scott and Mary Inman; his siblings-in-law, Norma Eash, Marilyn Hewitt and Wayne Dameron; and his nephew David Scott of Chenoa.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (212 Lincoln St, Chenoa, IL 61726). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Chenoa Space Age Pioneers 4-H Club, c/o Heartland Bank, Chenoa.
