Daniel leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Daniel’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Daniel will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Englund (Greenhow); his children, Jenna Durez (Danny) of Venice and Matthew (Skyler Exendine) of Rockford; his granddaughter Ariya Durez; his pet Tony; his brother Richard Englund (Maria); his brothers-in-law, Kevin Greenhow (Shelly) and Gary Greenhow (Gwen); Dan. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services (218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008).
