He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil G. Bargren and Edith Bargren (Ryden); his former wife Mary Bargren; and his sister Joanne Moline (Dan). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bargren of Cherry Valley; his children, Michelle Adam (Warren) of Rockford, Melinda M. Etnyre (Deven) of Poplar Grove and Andrew D. Bargren (Nicole) of Loveland, CO; his stepdaughters, Keri Herndon (Johnny) of Nowata, OK and Kristi Barron (Gary) of Cameron, NC; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Marley Adam, Jet, Scout Etnyre, Ryden and Tanner Bargren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (675 N Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61107). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
