She was predeceased by: her father Fred L. Peterson; and her brothers, Wesley and Fred Peterson Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Vera L. Peterson (Brandt); her children, Gary Larson (Candy), Dennis Larson (Kathy), Dean Kuelz, Douglas Kuelz and Trudy Kuelz; her grandchildren, Kristen Circelli, Kaila Ahlemeyer (David), Cody Kuelz, Zachery Kuelz, Nicholas Cannella, Samantha Ace and Jessica Schick (Lonnie); her great grandchildren, Marisa, Morgan Circelli, Austin Nystrom, Ada Cannella, Jacksyn Cannella and Braden Ahlemeyer; her grandson Jared Larson; her nephew Scott Peterson; and her sister Patricia Peterson (Bette Peterson). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; step-children; cousins; and mothers of her grandchildren.

She was a volunteer driver for American Cancer Society for 19 years and a volunteer hospice worker for OSF for 6 years.
