Edward W. Tovo Obituary
In loving memory of Edward W. Tovo of Cherry Valley, Illinois, who departed this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 79. Edward leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tovo and Della Tovo (Venzon-Dalpaos); his brother Louis Dalpaos; and his brother-in-law Tom Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Marie Ceschin; his children, Nathan Tovo (Mary Clare Kane) and Elisha Casey (Chris Erd); his grandchildren, Haley (Nathan Kutz), Lyra, Aiden, Wyatt, Sophie, Kate, Vivien and Gianna; his sister Carol Murphy; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Dalpaos. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rita Catholic Church (6254 Valley Knoll Dr, Rockford, IL 61109). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
