He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Painter and Joan Joanette Herron (Pain); his siblings, Susan Jeanette Herron and Jackie Herron; and his son Erick Sawyer.
He is survived by: his wife Kari Ewers; his children, Christina Fry (Mike), Amanda Sawyer, Angel Herron and Andrew Herron (Charlene Baum); and his grandchildren, Corey, Jeremiah, Jordyn, Trinity, Ava, Joseph, Alivia, Chase, Dillon, Jayden, Landen, Tayler, Ericka, Abbi and Quentin. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
