He was predeceased by: his grandfather Arvid (Matt); his aunts, Christine and Barbarba; and his uncle Maynard. He is survived by: his parents, Michael A. Carlson and Sandra D. Swanson (Johnson); his fiancé Hollister Koch; his brother Christopher A. Carlson (Heidi Pommerening); and his niece Adaila. He is also survived by uncles and aunts; cousins; life-long friends; his MECO family.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the family.
