He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald "Bidd" O'Daniel and Ruby Gilbreath O'Daniel; his significant other Joyce Mehrer; and his aunts and uncles, Richard "Peanut" O'Daniel, William "Jim" O'Daniel, George "Jack" O'Daniel, Bonnie Leinicke and Shirley O'Daniel.
He is survived by: his sister Judy Rees; his children, Kim Schofield (Jeff), Dana Williams (Jim), Cassandra Mehrer, Whitney O'Daniel (Lisa) and Todd Wilburn (Sheri); his grandchildren, Samantha Kessel (Ezra), Avri O'Daniel, Jonah Schofield, Josie Schofield and Aidyn O'Daniel; his great grandchildren, Jacob Martin and Lucas Martin; his niece Keri Hamilton (Doug); his great-nephew Brantley; his great-niece Kenzie; and his cousins, James Downen, Steven O'Daniel (Jeannie) and Michael O'Daniel (Joanne). He is also survived by many friends and neighbors.
