He was predeceased by: his parents, George Monroe and Ava Louise Hogan (Thompson). He is survived by: his close friend Christina Wittenborn; his sons, Chris Hogan (Sarah) and Matt Hogan; his sister Mary Jane Williams (Bob); and his grandchildren, Ava and Marley Hogan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Funeral Home (213 E Oak St, West Frankfort, IL 62896). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
