Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Karen Lynn Parrish of Chester, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 75, on December 8, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Blockley and Arneda Blockley (Utley); her boyfriend Allan Schremp; her siblings, Carol June, Ruth Ann, Barbara, Jacqueline, Harry "Butch" and Brad; her grandson Bradley Parker; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Scotty, Madison, Natalyn, Max, Billy, Zoey and Arin.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Absher of Chester, IL, Jason Parrish of Ellis Grove, IL, Misty Parrish (Tim) of Perryville, MO and Sara Torres (David) of Carbondale, IL; her siblings, Norma Rathjen of Chester, IL, Sharon Kennedy of Murphysboro, IL and James Blockley (Stacy) of Grand Junction, CO; her grandchildren, Lindsey (Ian), Brandi, Ericca (Richard), Sadie, Abigail, Ayla (Eric), Bailey, Matthew, Gavin, Ryan (Katelyn), Kailyn (Zak), Maleia (Ethan), Brayden, Quinton, Kaiden, Keegan, Evan and Vance; and her great grandchildren, Clayton, Corian, Morgan, Taylor, Elizabeth, Parker, Amari, Karsyn, Pine Robin, Amelia, Lydia, Jayce and Theo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chester Eagles (402 Hacker St, Chester, IL 62233).
