He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Montroy and Cecelia Montroy. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Annette (Rob) and Lynn (Rob); his sister Betty Ann; his grandchildren, Randi Kassel (Tim), Butch Gordon (Kate) and Samantha Yankey (Mason); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Vivienne Kassel, Gwen and Hailey Yankey; and his sibling's children, Anna O'Gara (John), Maria Reiss, Amy Liefer (Ron) and Kim Montroy (Angela). He is also survived by Many Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Mary Church of Divine Maternity (7362 Shawneetown Trail, Ellis Grove, IL 62241). A Mass was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
